Origin Story:

Charli’s journey to her forever home started at the Palmdale shelter, where she was rescued alongside her kennel mate, Melvin. From the moment she stepped out of her cage, it was clear that Charli was a love bug. She showered everyone she met with affection, and her sweet nature won hearts instantly.

Her new foster family quickly realized how wonderful she was as she settled in with ease—Charli got along perfectly with their two dogs and the other ranch dogs. Whether playing in the yard or lounging on the couch, Charli fit right in. She loved toys, treats, and was always up for an adventure, whether it was a trip to the store or a hike on the trails. Her leash manners were impeccable, and her recall was spot on.

Charli’s high energy and intelligence made her a dream to train, and she picked up new commands in no time. Although she’s got the typical herding dog energy, she was perfect for a family experienced with cattle dogs, understanding that she needed both mental and physical stimulation. She loved cuddling up with her person after a long day of play, and it was clear that Charli had found her place in the world—right where she belonged.
